Time Travel Done Right

One of the problems with time travel is almost always around the effect on people performing the actions versus those affected by them. Aporia is a rare case where they make an attempt to deal with those repercussions. A device that doesn’t allow you to travel through time, but rather launch a particle through time to kill someone instantly. Back to the Future dealt with those involved in time travel by simple saying that ‘time changed around them’. This movie suggests it’s a matter of quantum reality, where you perceive the reality around you. Thus if you are involved in the particle launching, you see the world as it was.

It’s an interesting take. The movie isn’t quite perfect, and it relies a little too much on the time travel machine and not really understanding how it works. But it’s a solid premise with decent acting. I watch these because I want to write about time travel someday, and just haven’t found the right scenario or premise yet.
